The Long Beach Digital Photography/Photoshop July Meetup

Please bring your cameras to the July Meetup. As you arrive I will pair you up with another member and you will walk around the island together and take portrait illustrations of each other. If you are able, please try to arrive a little early, so that you don't miss the light.

What is the most important thing in life? I believe that it is happiness, and that is our first assignment. Produce a photograph that illustrates the concept of Happiness. Your second choice is: Sports. Show us some action. Assignment #3 is: A Makeover. All three of these are very loose and you can illustrate any way that you like. Have fun being creative. So there you have it, three brand new choices: Happiness, Sports, or Makeover. Feel free to choose just one, or if your are ambitious, try all three. Remember that these are only suggestions, and you do not have to do the assignments. You may share any photographs that you like, but do keep them in good taste.

Please bring no more than six (6) images to share. You may present your photographs as digital files (Cd's, thumbdrives, or memory cards), or as finished prints. Prints should be at least eight by ten inches, and larger is always better. If you do bring prints, be sure to let me know at the beginning of the meeting, so I won't forget to allow time for you to share.

For our next monthly assignments, you might be looking for: Summer or Music. We will also be showing the portraits that we took in July. Portraits, Summer, or Music. If you have another idea, please feel free to email or call me.
