I have never met a photographer who doesn't love to frame a good shot, but can you frame a good shot within a frame? That is your first choice this month: Frame in a Frame.
Every day almost all of us pass by a unique exterior wall. Assignment number two: Exterior Wall. I know that you urban landscape photographers can have a ball showing us their favorite walls.
Assignment #3 is for you macro loving photographers: A Bugs Life. Get down and introduce us to your favorite bug.
All three of these are very loose and you can illustrate the concepts in any way that pleases you. Have fun, be creative. So there you have it, three brand new choices: Frame in a Frame, Exterior Wall, and A bugs Life. Feel free to choose just one, or if your are ambitious, try all three. Remember that these are only suggestions, and you do not have to do the assignments. You may share any photographs that you like, but do keep them in good taste.
Please bring no more than six (6) images and a title image (this is new) to share. You may present your photographs as digital files (Cd's, thumbdrives, or memory cards), or as finished prints. Prints should be at least eight by ten inches, and larger is always better. If you do bring prints, be sure to let me know at the beginning of the meeting, so I won't forget to allow time for you to share.
For our next monthly assignments, you might be looking for: Moody Light, Soft and Dreamy, weird Color. If you have any other ideas, please feel free to email or call me.
I am always looking for guest presentations for the group. If you, or someone you know, would like to do a short 15-30 minute presentation that the group would find interesting, let me know. (Please!)
