I will be going to the Perris Rail Museum on Sturday October 31, since this is Halloween the grounds should be fairly empty of people and should be great for photographing the trains & exhibits. If anyone is interested in going as a group let me know.

Here is the info for the rail museum

Orange Empire Railway Museum
- Visitor Information -

Explore the West's largest collection of railway locomotives, passenger and freight cars, streetcars, interurban electric cars, buildings and other artifacts dating from the 1870's.

Ride streetcars, interurban cars and trains on the museum railway. Trolleys and trains operate every weekend and on most major holidays, 11AM to 5PM.

Visit the Pinacate Station Museum Store and the Museum grounds daily (except Thanksgiving and Christmas), 9AM to 5PM. We recommend visiting on a weekend if possible, as this is when our trains and trolleys are running and most of our display buildings are open. If you're planning to visit during the week, consider calling ahead to reserve a guided tour, available most weekday mornings for a small fee.

The Museum grounds are quite large and contain numerous buildings, parks and outdoor areas to explore. Any time you visit, we recommend dressing appropriately for the weather, and wearing comfortable walking shoes. The Museum grounds are quite large and there's a lot to see!

For more information please call (951) 657-2605 (recorded information) or (951) 943-3020 (live).

Prices: Access to the Museum Grounds is free, (except during certain special events). On regular weekends, an all-day pass to ride the trains costs $12 for adults, $8 for children 5-11, free for kids under 5. A family pass (for members of one family) is available for $40. Parking is always free. See the Calendar for dates and prices of OERM special events. See the Charters page for information on our charter program.

This sounds like a great trip. I plan to join you all. It will be my first outing with your group. I used to be a member of a meetup photo group in Chicago. I live in Fullerton. Not sure if I will drive into Long Beach or meet you all there. Anybody else in the Fullerton area going?
Thanks
Betty
