Photo Retouching Photography Shoot

When was the last time you had a professional photograph taken? For free? And then had it retouched so that it looks like you are the new face of a glossy magazine? This experiential meet up brings together freelance photographers, photo retouchers and wanabee models, aka everyday people, who want to part of a monthly workshop that allows the 'perfect beauty' to be constructed. Everyday people are needed for this workshop to happen and for discussion to take place. You will be emailed your original and retouched photo for free to use on your profile pics. This workshop is brought to you by www.photolate.com; a professional retouch service for everyday photos. We believe that photo retouching should be open and honest and we aim to change the way people think when they see a glossy magazine with a 'beauty' on the front. This workshop helps show people what is involved in creating such a picture. It's not all real you know!

Since there seems to be no right or wrong way of photo retouching, and there's at least 10 different ways of achieving the same results (e.g. teeth whitening), I think we can all learn from each other. Read more
