I thought it would be great to start a group which brought together all levels of photographers to meet up and shoot in and around Manchester which a common aim, to take great pictures! As the groups develops I am open to suggestions such as photography tutorials and model shoots. Its meant to be a fun group for people who like to shoot. A local group for amateur photographers in the Manchester area to meet, discuss, and experiment with all things photographic. The plan is to form a stable group, headed by a team of active and enthusiastic amateurs who will organise trips out and themed club evenings for members to come along and join in whilst having fun!

Thornton Camera Club meet in some beautiful parts of Yorkshire. We feel on location is our preference to a meeting room with maybe a county pub lunch once a month for good measure. These take place every Saturday from 31st March through to 29th September from 10am onwards. The club does not have a boundary on membership except age you must be 18+, or amount of times you attend as we all live busy lives.
