This is a photography group in the Katy area. The group will meet at least once a month at various locations across Katy to either chat about photography or to go take some pictures. This group is for those who have completed Miksang Contemplative photography training. Let's get together to continue our Miksang practice. We can have events for group shoots in the Houston area and do "live" group reviews. We can also have "virtual" events to challenge ourselves and support our individual practices.

This group is dedicated to exploring unusual photography.  Examples would be "street" or "abstract" styles.  The idea is to be able to go beyond the established rules to create interesting and remarkable photographs that tell stories.  Those stories may range from revealing reality through artistic interpretation. The Houston Camera Club was founded in 1935 and is still going strong. We meet the first and third Tuesday at the Bayland Community Center on Bissonnet from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
